Four Dollar Trip

4 Dollar snaps

How gorgeous is this little discovery. I've been trying to get my beau into this beau every sunday since we've been in Melbourne but some how we never made it. Until Sunday, my favourite day. Its our day where we go on adventures, eat beautiful food and do lots of kissing. I love this booth, best part it is literally 5 steps from my work. I'll be swapping my lunch box for booth box every day. Great diet that is...

Muddy Puddle

My Muddle Puddle

This is my favourite drink of all time, my strange little tipple, my guaranteed hang over cure. Named the muddle puddle this half OJ half Coke is yum yum. Don't judge by its unappetising colour go make...

My Beau @ Federation Square

Sunday is my Beau & I's day for little adventures. We usually go to Mag Nation and read a pile of magazines over coffee, which is my favourite. This Sunday we went to Melbourne's gallery in Federation Square. There's always something to do there. Not that we paid any attention to any of the exhibitions, we were more interested in the building itself which is phenomenally beautiful, with hidden little atriums and lots of lovely cement.

All of the lights

National Gallery, my beau & I...the fun you can have with a light box. When we finally own a humble home, I'll be getting a few of these. YUM

I don't really remember my grandpa much any more, I remember small distorted frozen images, one of which is my tiny hand in his, walking to get the morning paper. When we speak of him my mum always talks of his hands. They were her favourite part of him. He had beautiful hands, she would say, ones you would see drawn in a book. He had beautiful tattoo's on his arms. She tells me of the day he died. I was only a child, the thing she remembers, is touching his hands and arms for the last time, taking in his skin, his tattoo's, the last touch. He had a finger that sat below the rest, it was bitten by a Monkey when he was serving in the army in Vietnam.

I feel this way about my Clarky's hands, he has the 'should be drawn in a book' perfect model paws. I always joke that if he dies (and I can't stuff his whole body) I'll have his hands stuffed, or exact replica's made so even though he's not there I will always be able to hold his handsome hands.

They are perfect and they are mine.

Happy Bunting

My beau had a birthday. He turned 28. I made him a birthday banner. Everything is better when it's home made, especially on birthdays. I go all out, such a simple little task, such a beauteous little wall deco. It's still up, two week's later and there it shall stay, above our heads floating above our bed.

What a handsome boyman I have eh?

Meet my beau, Clarky and his so-blue-they-look-turquoise eye's. I bought him this shirt for his birthday. He likes to keep things simple.
